B24 Liberator Restoration Introduction Video

Company Background

The B-24 Liberator Memorial is an Australian non-profit organisation founded in 1988 to acquire and restore a Consolidated B-24 Liberator for display as a memorial to all allied airmen who served on B-24 Liberators during World War II in defence of Australia. The restoration project is located in Werribee and is the only remaining Liberator in the Southern Hemisphere.

Overview of Project

The B24 Liberator restoration team faced many disruptions from extended closure due to COVID-19. As they looked to re-engaged their community and attract new visitors, they were looking at creating a video that accurately communicated the purpose and background of what was happening at the B-24 Liberator Museum.

Project Goals

The goals for B-24 Liberator Museum using video was to:

  • Drive awareness amongst the local community.
  • Engage with existing and potential new volunteers.

Outcome

The B24 team chose one of their most knowledgeable members to present an overview of the project’s history and current situation.

We developed a series of questions to capture the key attractions potential visitors would be interested in whilst also painting a picture for potential volunteers.

Footage from around the museum was captured to support the messages deliver in this interview.
